THE GOLF LICENSE / GREENCARD / PLATZREIFE (PERMISSION TO PLAY ON THE GOLF COURSE)

In many European countries you will not be allowed on the Golf Course unless you have a handicap certificate. The first step is passing the Golf License/Greencard/Platzreife. It is equivalent to a 54 handicap.

The test comprises of a written portion and a practical portion. The written portion is 20 questions about the golf etiquette and the rules of golf. The practical portion involves playing 4 holes, the players best 3 holes are used to score this portion. The player must score below 21 to pass this test.

After passing the final test the participent receives a certificate recognized by the PGA.

The Beginners Clinic can be adapted to include the Golf License/Greencard/Platzreife.
